Lock Picking: Hair Pin vs. Combination Lock (2025)

Worked perfectly, toke off the 175 lock off a fifty year old Gitane Tour De France bicycle.

Great video! Never liked those locks because of that. As long as someone's not scratching it up they could be defeating the lock on a regular basis and go unnoticed. Good locks cost big bucks.

I'm not sure if my Master Lock 175 is just way tighter than EVERYONE I see here on RUclips but I can barely get an aluminum can that I cut down to fit between the dials. What's the deal? Have you ever seen one as tight as I'm describing?

Will it work for a 176 sir my locks a mystery be tried everything to find the override key for mine I've lost the combination ,and it costs a locksmith to reopen it.I have the resetting key ( there's 2 ) one on left side and one on right side ..I've lost the overide key ? There a 0176K and a 0175B keys can you help here ? Brett please reply

Have you tried the Abus 180ib/50 ?
While its resemblance to the 175 is striking it's inside is quite different. Mostly made of brass (175 is copper coated zinc) and better tolerances. Not saying it's impossible but just for the comparison :)
